After the shocking events aboard the B.S.L. (Metroid Fusion, GBA), Samus Aran receives a distress call from a nearby planetary research station. A highly agressive specimen, the Tyrant Rex, has broken loose wreaking havok on the facility and has killed most of the researchers, taking the survivors back to its lair. Samus must get into the creatures lair by travelling through the other sectors.
